The GCAAR Leadership Institute offers the education needed to help nurture success. The 8-day class offers an array of training focusing on the following areas:

  • REALTOR® Association Structure
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Public Policy
  • Community Service
  • Public Speaking
  • Effective Meetings
  • Time Management
  • Strategic Planning

What does a volunteer leader do? GCAAR volunteers assist with the development of polices and programs that benefit REALTOR® members. Volunteer leaders play an integral role in ensuring that members have the tools and support needed to succeed in today's ever-changing field. And they play an important role in helping to shape public policy and accentuate the positive impact REALTORS® have on our communities.

GCAAR volunteers play a variety of roles including participating on committees, serving on the Board of Directors, and representing GCAAR and the real estate industry in the community. Volunteers grow both personally and professionally as a result of their volunteer experience.

Participation is limited. Participants are required to attend all sessions. A selection committee reviews all applications.
