Foster care children often relocate, toting their possessions in plastic garbage bags because they cannot afford to purchase suitcases of their own. Suitcases for Kids is an international non-profit organization that collects and distributes new and gently used suitcases, duffel bags, and backpacks for these special children.
The Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® has drop boxes at both its Silver Spring and DC locations and will be accepting donations through Dec. 12. All donations will be given to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington.
