VIRTUAL: Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) Certification

This means no driving, no walking around, no phone calls or other distractions. This is a three-day class meeting on November 19th, 20th, and 21st from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM each day. YOU MUST BE PRESENT AND ON CAMERA ALL HOURS OF ALL 3 DAYS--THERE IS NO PARTIAL CREDIT NOR MAKEUP DAYS AVAILABLE.

This course is being partnered by the Anne Arundel County Association of REALTORS® and the Frederick County Association of REALTORS®. Members of this association can visit their website to register for their member rate. 

 The RENE course serves as an elective towards the SRS designation.

The Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) certification is for real estate professionals who want to sharpen their negotiation skills. The RENE certification program gives REALTORS® the tips and tools they need to be skillful advocates for their clients.

This course is designed to elevate and enhance negotiating skills so that today's real estate professional can play the game and win. A full spectrum of tips, tools, and techniques are provided so that REALTORS® can produce effective results for their clients.

Learning outcomes include:

  • Improve your negotiating skills
  • Learn about behind-the-scenes issues and how to deal with them
  • Learn how to handle a wide range of personalities and situations
  • Learn to sort out the competing objectives of the parties involved in a transaction

Completing the RENE certification course is the first step toward earning your RENE certification. These additional steps include doing the following after taking this course: 1) Successful completion of the RENE Certification Course is required for certification. ; 2) Submitting the certification application; 3) Being a member in good standing of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR); and 4) Submit a non-refundable $159 one-time credentialing fee (there are no recurring annual dues or membership) with the application.

 Please note:  If there are fewer than 10 registered attendees, this class may be cancelled due to REBI attendee requirements.
